embeddedTUX.org is launched
by Karim Yaghmour, 24-04-2003
embeddedTUX.org is the companion site to Karim Yaghmour's
Building
Embedded Linux Systems. Along with the book, this site is
meant to provide embedded systems developers with all the information
they need to build embedded systems based on the Linux kernel using only
freely available open source and free software packages.
In order to achieve this goal, embeddedTUX.org will regularly feature
in-depth technical articles that add to the existing body of information
regarding the use of Linux in embedded systems. In addition,
embeddedTUX.org hosts the etux mailing
list, which has been set up to provide a forum for discussing issues
unique to the use of Linux in embedded systems.
You are invited to visit the site's different sections and to subscribe
to the mailing list.
Karim Yaghmour is the author of Building Embedded Linux
Systems, and the founder and president of Opersys inc., a
company providing expertise and courses on the use of open source and
free software in embedded systems.
